Greens Public Action: EU-US Summit, Brussels

Leading Green candidate Ska Keller, MEPs and sympathisers will protest against the current TTIP agenda.

The Greens oppose the terms of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agenda, because the agreement will water down environmental and social standards, endangers democratic decision making, is being negotiated in secrecy and will give our new trading partner huge influence on internal EU decision-making. For these reason we're organising a public action in the heart of Brussels during the EU-US Summit with our Green leading candidate Ska Keller, MEPs and sympathisers, to draw attention to these issues.

What? Green TTIP action

When? Wednesday, 26 March 2014, from 11.30 to 12.00 (CET)

Where? Place Luxembourg, Brussels, in front of the European Parliament

Who? Green leading candidate Ska Keller, leading candidates from Groen and Ecolo (the Belgian Green parties), Green MEPs, Federation of Young European Greens
