Green MEPs say NO to the TTIP agenda
STRASBOURG: Green MEPs protested against the current TTIP agenda at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Wednesday 12 March. Greens do not believe TTIP represents the kind of transatlantic relationship that is needed, and poses huge risks to European citizens in terms of data privacy, health and safety, environmental protection and agriculture, among many.
This comes as civil society groups from the US and Europe will come together to protest the deal outside the European Commission's DG Trade building on Thursday, 10am in light of the negotiations the continue this week in Brussels.
