OFFENSIVE OF CAPITAL AND BIOECONOMY OF TTIP

FRIDAY 15th – SATURDAY 16th of May 2015 - Zagreb, Croatia

OFFENSIVE OF CAPITAL AND BIOECONOMY OF TTIP
FRIDAY 15th – SATURDAY 16th of May 2015.

Cinema Europe (Cinema Müller – 1st floor)

TTIP is partnership that represents new global offensive of the capital in its most manifested
and violating form. This partnership on free trade between EU and USA, marked with strong
secrecy in negotiation process and without public access to its content aims to erase regulatory
barriers to the multinational profit and establish new institutional architecture which would
enable it permanently. Through this partnership multinational corporations will be positioned
above states and position to launch legal cases against states if they disable their maximisation
of profit having ultimate impact not only in degradation of workers rights, environmental
protection, food security but also privatisation of health sector etc. TTIP therefore presents
ultimate form of turbo-capitalist offensive against residua of social welfare, new attack on public
sector and submission to global capital through liberalisation and flexibilisation of the labour
and goods market. While protagonists of TTIP from both side of Atlantic preach about the
increase of living standard and employment opportunities, economic analysis and other
examples of similar partnerships from past (like NAFTA) indicate that TTIP would, just
contrary, result with decrease of employment and decline of growth.

If he doesn't see the need for ISDS in TTIP, why are you still supporting it? It's undemocratic and it will ruin the whole economy of the EU.
